Ethiopia is to host the 2027 African Marketing Confederation Conference, the AMC announced on Thursday evening (24 September). In addition, Ethiopia will concurrently host the 2027 Technology Information Confederation Africa (TICON Africa) and the African Supply Chain Confederation (ASCON) conferences.
Together, the three conferences form the African Commerce Convergence Summit (ACCS). This convergence recognises that the three professions are increasingly intertwined and playing a vital role in the economic development of the continent.

In her impromptu speech following the announcement, the President of the Ethiopian Marketing Professionals Association, Fana Abay, expressed the Ethiopian delegation’s excitement and said their bid had been a team effort.
“There are a lot of people in Ethiopia waiting for you to come (and visit) … we’re very excited to host you next year,” she said.
