Adeola Tejumola, Executive Managing Director for Middle East, Africa & Turkey at the Insights Division of Kantar, has announced three significant leadership changes in the insights company’s West, East & Central Africa region.
After more than 18 years leading Kantar Africa Insight, Susannah Patton is taking up a new role with Kantar’s UK team as the Alcohol & Tobacco Industry lead.
“Susannah’s energy, warmth and relentless client focus have left a lasting mark on our business, our clients and our people,” comments Tejumola.
“We’re grateful for her leadership and delighted that she will continue her Kantar journey in this exciting new chapter.”
Meanwhile, Astrid Ricketts has been appointed head of Kantar Africa Insight, effective from 1 September 2026.
According to Tejumola, she brings more than 20 years of helping brands grow in complex markets, 17 of them at Kantar in Africa spanning research, client leadership and, most recently, sustainable transformation.

The third appointment is that of Maria da Serra, who becomes Chief Commercial Officer for West, East & Central Africa.
“A specialist in consumer, innovation and product research, Maria brings two decades of FMCG and consultancy experience, alongside a genuine passion for building products and services that people love and that help businesses grow,” Tejumola states.
“Her commercial depth will help us maintain our momentum and continue delivering the impact our clients expect.”
