Ipsos Sub-Saharan Africa has announced the appointment of Kenyan-based Enock Wandera as Chief of Strategy.
In this newly created executive role, he joins the SSA Exco for strategic governance and reports directly to Nick Coates, Regional CEO for SSA.
A key element of Wandera’s role is to drive the Ipsos Elevate 2026 agenda and ensure alignment with Horizons 2030. Horizons 2030 is the Ipsos global transformation and growth strategy.

“Already, he has set up Elevate structures in six of eight markets, moving into execution and monitoring phases.”
Continuing his work in Kemya
Alongside his regional responsibilities, Wandera will continue as Kenya Chief Client Officer, ensuring client service excellence during the transition.
He has spent almost eight years with Ipsos in Kenya, having joined the company in June 2018 from Kantar Millward Brown, where he held positions such as Client Service Director, Group Account Director & Client Service Lead, and Group Account Director & Regional Account Lead (SSE + MENA).
On his LinkedIn profile, Wandera says of himself: “With over 20 years’ experience in the market research industry, I believe growth happens when people, purpose and performance move in harmony.
“My work is about awakening potential in every space – inspiring teams, clients and the business as a whole to align around a shared vision and ascend toward meaningful, sustainable growth.”
