The awards honour trailblazers, visionaries and brands shaping Ghana’s evolving marketing industry – spotlighting marketers, marketing teams and business leaders who go beyond the ordinary to drive national development, global competitiveness and ethical leadership.
The blue carpet event takes place on Friday, 26 September 2025 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, which recently hosted the 2025 African Marketing Confederation (AMC) Conference. The theme for the 2025 CIMG awards event is ‘Repositioning Brand Ghana: Marketing for Economic Growth and Transformation’.
At last year’s awards, CIMG named the Managing Director of Labadi Beach Hotel, Mr David Eduaful, as Marketing Man of the Year and the Managing Director of Primetime Limited, Mrs Nana Akua Mensa-Bonsu, respectively as the Marketing Woman of the Year.
Mr Eduaful was recognised for his leadership in elevating Labadi Beach Hotel to the top of the market. Under his guidance, the hotel solidified its position as the preferred choice for guests, significantly enhancing its brand image and financial performance.
Mrs Nana Akua Mensa-Bonsu was recognised for consistently organising and delivering world-class programmes that captivate both domestic and international audiences.
“Her notable contributions to education, including scholarship opportunities, STEM promotion and media reach, have earned her this well-deserved recognition,” the judges commented.
Last year’s Marketing Practitioner of the Year award was presented to Mr Robert O. Mensah, the General Manager at Eusbett Hotel.
You can tune in live to the 36th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards on CIMG’s Facebook page via https://web.facebook.com/ghcim. The event starts at 6:30pm (local time).
