
Africa declares a new standard for its communications profession

Kleber Group is operating from a base in Cape Town, which it says will be its strategic hub for engaging with markets across Africa.
Kleber Group, an international communications agency with extensive experience in integrated marketing and PR for the travel and tourism industry, has announced that it is strengthening its presence in Africa.
Its base on the continent is Cape Town, which the agency says will “serve as a strategic hub for supporting and engaging with markets across Africa”.

Kleber already has knowledge of African markets, having worked with tourism destinations, airlines, hotels and other tourism-industry stakeholders on the continent. Its services include brand strategy, media relations, digital campaigns, influencer engagement, sustainability communications, trade marketing, and investor relations.
“The goal is to deepen engagement across African markets through integrated, locally rooted communication strategies that highlight the region’s diversity and its growing potential in both inbound and outbound tourism,” the agency states in a press release.
Seasoned communications strategist with a pan-African perspective
Heading up the Cape Town office, in her role as Director for Africa, is Lexi Hall. According to the press release, she is a seasoned communications strategist who “brings a pan-African perspective and extensive experience working with tourism and lifestyle brands across the continent”.
Her focus will be to lead the development of tailor-made and locally grounded strategies that are designed to resonate with both African brands and international clients.
Kleber’s existing African expertise includes the Voice4Africa initiative. This promotes sustainable tourism and entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on empowering women and youth.
The agency also works with ReThinking Africa, a German business initiative that advocates for fair, investment-driven cooperation between Africa and Europe. The aim is to create sustainable partnerships that generate local jobs and long-term economic value.
Apart from Africa, Kleber Group operates in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Poland.
