The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), led by its Governing Council, recently paid a high-level courtesy call on the management of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) Ghana PLC, marking the start of a renewed, results-driven collaboration focused on marketing excellence, institutional transformation and national development.

A key outcome was the shared commitment to support ADB’s new strategic vision and CIMG’s flagship research efforts. Notably, ADB expressed interest in participating in the upcoming 2025 AMC–TICON Africa Conference, Africa’s premier marketing and technology event.

In another high-level visit related to the banking sector, a delegation from the CIMG paid a courtesy call on the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Pandit Asiamah.
In a social media post, CIMG President, Michael Abbiw, said this reaffirmed the critical role that marketing intelligence and customer satisfaction insights play in shaping a resilient, inclusive and trustworthy financial ecosystem.
Among the topics discussed were:
“We are grateful for the warm reception and the opportunity to explore meaningful partnerships that place the Ghanaian customer at the centre of financial innovation and service delivery,” the CIMG President said in his post.
