Members of the Institute of Marketing in Malawi bring winter warmth as part of their annual Keep a Soul Warm campaign.

On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, the Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM), one of the founding members of the African Marketing Confederation, visited the Mulanje Vocational and Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind to donate warm clothing and blankets.

This initiative forms part of the IMM’s annual corporate social responsibility programme called Keep a Soul Warm – a flagship campaign aimed at supporting vulnerable groups during the winter season.

The centre, which falls under the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare, currently accommodates 33 trainees of varying ages who are undergoing vocational and rehabilitation training.

Commitment to building resilient and caring communities

Leading the delegation was the IMM Director of Communications, Daniel Ngwira, who remarked that “the initiative reflects the institute’s deep commitment to building resilient and caring communities”.

The Centre’s Principal Instructor, Daniel Hoda, expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that many trainees come from economically challenged backgrounds and that the support would go a long way in improving their wellbeing.
