Pan-African communications business appoints Sanchia Temkin as Associate Director to introduce new initiatives and enhance service offerings.
APO Group, the pan-African public relations and press release distribution business, has announced the promotion of Sanchia Temkin to the position of Associate Director – Integrated and Creative Content, within the PR and Strategic Communications department.
In her new role, she will be pivotal to introducing new initiatives and enhancing the service offerings of the Integrated and Creative Content division, as well as optimising operations for productivity and growth.

“Her sharp eye for detail, strategic thinking, expertise across many industries, and background in law and journalism have been instrumental in our team’s achievements and our client’s successes,” the company says in a media statement.

Based in Johannesburg, Temkin joined APO Group in 2022 as its content development specialist. Prior to that, she was PwC South Africa’s head of media relations.
Temkin has over 20 years of professional experience in financial journalism and media relations.
After several years of practicing as a lawyer, she started a career in journalism with Business Day newspaper, where she worked her way up to associate editor.
Temkin reported on the professional services industry, with a focus on the Big Four accounting firms, governance issues in corporate SA, tax policy, and investigative stories on tax evasion. She also authored articles for the Financial Mail and Business Times.
