Rachel Karanu brings over 15 years of sales experience to role, where she will work closely with prominent global platforms such as TikTok.
Aleph Holdings – the digital and technology company that represents TikTok, X, Snapchat and Spotify in Africa – has announced the appointment of Rachel Karanu as Client Partner Lead for the East Africa region.
In her new role she will lead the regional sales team, develop new opportunities, and foster new relationships to further Aleph’s position in the market.

Karanu has over 15 years of sales experience and has worked at Magnate Ventures Limited, served as Head of Brand Partnerships at Mdundo Limited, and Head of Business Development at Creative VMLY&R.
Her most recent role was Commercial General Manager at Trueblaq Limited, an experiential marketing agency based in Nairobi.
Honoured for her sales success
As a result of her sales success, she was awarded Employee of the Year during her tenure at Magnate Ventures, a specialist in billboard and outdoor advertising services.
