Global communications planning and media buying agency, PHD, has announced the appointment of Kalu Kalu as its Business Unit Director in Nigeria.
Founded in London in 1990, PHD now employs more than 6,500 people across 100 offices in 74 countries.
Kalu has been with the media agency since 2016 and brings a wide range of experience and expertise to his new role. His focus on crafting and implementing business solutions encompasses communications and channel planning, brand management, and marketing strategy execution.
“In his prior position as Senior Manager for Strategy and Planning, Kalu demonstrated adept leadership in coordinating media campaigns across key markets within the region, particularly in Nigeria and Ghana,” the agency says in a press release.

His media strategy and planning experience prior to joining PHD roles at Starcom Media, MediaShare Limited and DDB Lagos.
He is an alumnus of Nigeria-based Babcock University, where he graduated with a degree in Mass Communication. He further honed his skills at the Lagos Business School and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the US.
