Experienced marketer promoted to senior role serving sub-Saharan Africa at FrieslandCampina Wamco in Nigeria.
Maureen Omi Ifada has been appointed as Marketing Director for the Sub-Saharan Africa Cluster at FrieslandCampina Wamco, a leading Nigerian dairy company.
She brings nearly two decades of diverse experience in marketing and brand management to her new role.
Her journey at FrieslandCampina began over a decade ago, and she has held various positions of increasing responsibility over that period.
Most recently, Ifada served as the Head of Channel & Category Development for Sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, she spearheaded the conceptualisation and drafting of overall channel and category strategies, fostered strategic partnerships to drive retail conversion, and translated brand plans into winning channel initiatives to enhance product presence across all channels.

“Throughout her tenure at FrieslandCampina, Maureen demonstrated her ability to develop and implement fully integrated marketing strategies aligned with consumer needs and market trends,” the company says in a statement.
Achieved volume growth and increased penetration

As Marketing Director, Ifada will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies and initiatives for FrieslandCampina’s products, ensuring continued market leadership and consumer satisfaction.
Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the Edinburgh Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria.
On her LinkedIn profile, Ifada describes herself as a “multi-skilled professional marketing executive with a strong technical background, good business knowledge and experience, with proven track records of success and flexibility”.
FrieslandCampina Wamco brands include Nunu nutrient-rich milk, Olympic milk, Three Crowns low-cholesterol milk, Peak Yoghurt, Peak Chocolate and Peak Milky Pap.
