IMM Institute calls for nominations for its annual awards taking place in March 2026, while TMSA issues awards and congress teaser.
The IMM Institute of South Africa, a founder member of the African Marketing Confederation, has announced that nominations are open for its Excellence Awards 2026.

Nominations close on 31 January 2026 and the winners will be announced at a glittering industry awards event to be held on 6 March 2026.
The IMM Institute, through the Excellence Awards, recognises contributions to the local industry by bold brands and individuals who displayed thought leadership and commitment to excellence in the marketing and supply chain industries.

“Make your voice heard! Celebrate 2025’s outstanding individuals and teams who are shaping the future of marketing,” the institute says in a social media post.
The 2025 Marketer of the Year award went to Happy Ngidi, Chief Marketing Officer at Proudly South African, the country’s official ‘buy local’ advocacy campaign.
Proudly South African also won Corporate Marketing Team of the Year. The Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award went to Robbie Brozin, co-founder of Nando’s, the South African-based quick-service restaurant chain specialising in Portuguese food.

Tanzania launches its 2026 awards
