Experienced commercial and marketing leader, Motunrayo Ojuolape, has joined Stafford Irish Spirits in Nigeria as Executive Director of Commercial Operations.
In her new role, Ojuolape will lead the transformation of the commercial function of the company, build scale, drive performance, and shape a high-performing and sustainable culture of excellence, as well as establish a scalable, market-winning commercial engine.
With over 18 years of experience across FMCG and premium spirits, Ojuolape has developed a reputation for converting brand strategy into disciplined commercial execution and impactful marketing initiatives.
Her career includes leadership roles at The Edrington Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Diageo, Brian Munro Limited, Royal Bank of Canada and British American Tobacco.
Prior to joining Stafford Irish Spirits, she served as National Head of Channel for Modern Trade & E-commerce at global drinks company Diageo, where she led initiatives to strengthen channel performance and accelerate digital commerce.
Her experience also includes roles as Category & Channel Marketing Manager for Chivita|Hollandia at CHI Limited, and trade marketing leadership positions at Coca-Cola HBC (a strategic bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company), and Edrington (an international spirits company known for producing premium brands), driving brand growth and market expansion.
From broadcasting to brand marketing
Ojuolape began her professional journey in media as a broadcaster and presenter at Afrotainment, before transitioning into brand marketing.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Postgraduate degree in Interactive Media Strategy from Seneca Polytechnic, complemented by a Marketing Management programme with The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
