Oktopost – a leading B2B social media management, employee advocacy and social listening platform – has announced its expansion into Africa.

It is springboarding its strategy through an exclusive reseller partnership with South African-based company, Kakanyo Business Solutions, a prominent regional player for IT and business performance consulting services.
“This strategic collaboration extends Oktopost’s social media management and lead generation capabilities across the region, enabling businesses to harness the full potential of social media and build employee advocacy programmes to drive growth and engagement,” the company says.
Founded in 2013 by Daniel Kushner and Liad Guez, Oktopost is based in Tel Aviv, Israel and operates as a B2B platform offering software for social media management. The brand is active is 20-plus countries.
Commenting on its new Africa strategy and its timing, Oktopost says in a press release that the partnership addresses a growing demand in the region for sophisticated B2B social media solutions that not only enhance brand presence but also deliver measurable results.

“Africa’s digital economy is expected to reach US$712-billion by 2050, with B2B transactions poised to make up a significant portion of this growth,” the press release says.
“With over 80-million active LinkedIn users in the region, businesses can no longer afford to rely solely on traditional marketing channels. LinkedIn and other social media platforms have become a critical meeting place for B2B buyers and decision-makers. For companies to thrive today, they require purpose-built tools to engage authentically and effectively with their target audiences.”
