Babalwa Donkrag takes up senior management role at KLA in Johannesburg after joining in 2012 as a survey programmer.
KLA, a South African-based consumer insights agency, has announced the appointment of Babalwa Donkrag to the role of Managing Director.

She has been with the agency since 2012 and risen steadily through it ranks, having first joined as a survey programmer responsible for programming online, telephonic and face-to-face surveys.
Donkrag later moved on to become a data analyst and, in 2020, was promoted to Systems Director responsible for overseeing the technical department, Qual & Quant operations, the YourView consumer panel, and serving as an executive member.
Allowed the business to continue its growth trajectory
“Under her leadership, KLA pivoted its offerings, allowing the business to continue its growth trajectory through Covid, and steered the growth of the KLA consumer panel from 10,000 to 120,000 panellists,” the agency says in a press release.
“With these accomplishments, and her natural leadership style, she was offered the opportunity to become a partner in the business and, in July, was appointed as Managing Director of KLA.”
