Handover was a moment of reflection

She succeeds Idy Enang, who has concluded his tenure as NIMN President. Enang noted in a LinkedIn post: “It was more than just a handover, it was a moment of reflection, of gratitude, and of legacy.

“Looking around that room, seeing familiar faces and new voices ready to lead, I was reminded that every role we hold is temporary, but the impact we make can be lasting. Thank you to everyone who walked this journey with me. From colleagues and council members to the incredible marketers who continue to raise the bar.

“Now, we look forward. With clear vision and renewed purpose. Because the end of one chapter often makes space for a new kind of story to begin.”

Great honour to lead the institute

In her own LinkedIn post, Dr Bayo-Ajayi says: “It is a great honour to lead this esteemed institute of great marketing professionals and academia.

“I have been overwhelmed by the inspiring words and kind messages that I have received since the announcement. Most especially, the several offer of support from NIMN members as well as industry colleagues and partners.

“I look forward to working with members, stakeholders, and industry professionals to advance the marketing profession. Thank you for the trust and confidence.”
