Esther Kagiri celebrates Globetracks’s AMEC 2025 award wins
At AMEC 2025, Globetrack was the only African-based company to be acknowledged for excellence.
It was honoured for its outstanding contributions to advancing strategic communication through data insight-led measurable impact for projects with the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA)
In addition, the company’s founder and Managing Director, Esther Kagiri, was named the AMEC Executive Professional of the Year, a global honour recognising her leadership, dedication to excellence, and outstanding contribution to advancing communication measurement standards worldwide.
Combating alcohol and drug abuse
Globetrack’s collaboration with NACADA focused on combating alcohol and drug abuse through data-driven communication.
Working closely with NACADA, the company mapped a comprehensive measurement journey – setting baselines, piloting insights, and building a scalable evaluation framework that directly supports NACADA’s prevention and education mandate.
The project established a measurement narrative for the state corporation, allowing meaningful tracking of behavioural and perceptual change, a critical step toward understanding the effectiveness of public health campaigns in Kenya.
In the second category, Globetrack was lauded for its ability to bridge the gap between measurement and management, transforming data into actionable strategies that support the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority’s core mandate – aviation safety, compliance and stakeholder confidence.
“Our recommendations went beyond generic insights,” explains Kagiri. “They were business-aligned and outcome-driven. For KCAA, that meant connecting communication to its core mission of aviation safety and compliance, proving that strategic measurement can directly support operational success.”
